Simple Wisdom for Complex Times
I have to say that I am excited about this new page on Burton Beyond. The Orange Street General Store is named
for the Orange Street in Merkel, Texas on which both my maternal grandmother--Mimmy--and my great uncle and aunt--Unc and
Auntie--lived. I spent much of my childhood playing in their backyards and absorbing their lessons and advice.
On this page, you will find a mix of family traditions and wisdom, advice direct from Mimmy, Unc, and Auntie, and a host of
resources on health, self-sufficiency, and faith. Stay tuned in the months to come. There's more on te way.
