There are generally three stages of the contract research process:
1) INITIAL CONTACT-This stage includes the first contact via email, phone, or in person, and allows
you to propose the topic for which you require research. It allows me to gain a further understanding of what is required
for the potential project.
2) TIMELINE & CONTRACTING-Upon review, I will promptly present a proposed timeline for completion
of the work and report(s) and a price. Each project is different and therefore price shall be determined by labor, length,
and time. At this point we negotiate the price and deadline frame. In general for report costs, the following
scale is the reference:
1000 words-$15
2000 words-$30
3000 words-$45
and so on
If travel and related expenses or fees are involved, per diem payment may also be a factor.
3) PROJECT-This stage is the core of the research contract, in which I perform the research and/or
writing upon which we have agreed.
4) COMPLETION-Your research request is fulfilled, if applicable your report(s) is delivered, and payment
conveyed for services rendered.
